The admission and enrolment procedures at the University of Siena vary depending on whether applicants hold an Italian, EU, or non-EU qualification.

Students with an Italian qualification can find complete information about admission requirements, deadlines, and online registration procedures on the University of Siena’s website.
Applicants holding an EU or equivalent qualification have two options for the academic year 2025/2026:
- Early evaluation via DreamApply – available from November of the previous year, with a processing fee of €49.
- Standard evaluation via Esse3 – available from July, free of charge.

All non-EU applicants who require a study visa must apply through the DreamApply platform for the academic year 2025/2026.
